Crookhorn launches Holiday food bank donataion project

The College is delighted to announce the launch of our first-ever Holiday Food Bank Donation Project.

Organised by our Deputy Head Girl, Katharine, the new project aims to help those in need in our community over the Christmas period.

Six Donation Stations have been set up throughout the College (one for each Year group bubble + one for staff) for donations to be placed in, which will then be distributed to the Local PO9 food bank, and to the Munch Community Food Pantry at Park Community.

Whether it's one tin or a full bag of food, every donation counts and could really help make a difference for someone during the holiday season.

Project organiser and Deputy Head Girl, Katharine had this to say:
"I approached our Headteacher, Mrs Bennett with this project because I was inspired by Marcus Rashford's free school meal campaign. I think it's very important that everyone knows that they can make a difference, no matter how big or small. I really hope that the Crookhorn community can come together to help those in need."
