Crookhorn challenges gifted and talented mathematicians

Today saw students from six of our local primary schools join us to participate in Maths Olympiad - an annual numeracy based event, where gifted and talented mathematicians competed against other schools to solve a series of mathematical and lateral thinking challenges.

The scores this year were extremely close but taking the shield and victory in the 13th annual Maths Olympiad competition was local primary school Mill Hill.

Congratulations to all the students that took part in today's competition.

Thank you to Mrs Poulter for organising Maths Olympiad and thank you to the Cosham Rotary Club for sponsoring the event.
