Salary Details: Grade B: £24,796 – £25,128 FTE
Hours of Work: Between Mon-Fri: 9.20am - 3.10pm
3 days: 15.25 hpw £8,858 - £8,977, 4 days: 20 hpw £11,617 - £11,773, 5 days: 25 hpw £14,521 - £14,716 (30 mins lunch and 15 mins break, term time only)
We are looking for highly motivated and committed individuals to join our experienced team of Teaching Assistants. The successful candidates would be involved with supporting individual students with literacy and numeracy, planning and running 1:1 or small group interventions. As well as looking for candidates to support students in class and help with exams, we are also looking for someone to support students within the PE department. Knowledge or experience of working with children who display challenging behaviour and who have learning difficulties is desirable. Candidates with experience of working alongside students with social, emotional and mental health needs would be welcomed. A willingness to learn and work well as a team is essential. Knowledge or experience of working with children who have learning difficulties is desirable. However, this is not essential as training in these areas can be provided.
