Our Post 16 Transition Information Evening will be on Wednesday 30th September, starting at 5:00pm which will last for approximately one hour. The evening has been arranged to finish at 6:00pm, allowing families who wish to do so to attend the HSDC Havant Open Evening afterwards.

The event will provide valuable information about post-16 pathways and how you can support your child in making informed choices about their future. The evening will include:

• A presentation from our Careers Leader on post-16 options, application timelines and key dates.
• Presentations from local colleges outlining the courses and opportunities available.
• Information on apprenticeships and other progression routes.
• Guidance on how parents and carers can support the decision-making process at home.

We would like to take this opportunity to share the different ways in which you can support your child through Year 11, to enable them to achieve their highest potential and progress onto the next stage of their education.

Mr Brunink will take you through an introduction to the following:
 

• Best study routines/spaces
• Use of itslearning
• Use of Seneca and Maths Watch
• Revision techniques covered in College through our Developing Blended Learners Programme and in class.

There will be time at the end to stay and discuss any questions or concerns with either Mrs Martin, Mr Brunink or the college representatives.
