Thank you to everyone that attended our annual free Christmas Science Lecture last night, A Nuclear Noël.

During the event, we managed to demonstrate radiation shielding and exposure, using a variety of materials to protect our very special test subjects from harmful alpha, beta and gamma rays in the form of NERF bullets and water guns, as well as averting a nuclear disaster in a mock-up nuclear powerplant, with the help of some very talented, young scientists at the controls.
