'I'm a Panto Character - Get Me Out Of Here!

What better way to kick off the Christmas holidays than with a good old-fashioned British pantomime?
The whole College was treated to our outrageously funny annual Christmas panto today, performed by members of the Senior Leadership Team and our Heads of House.
This year’s original production, I’m a Panto Character – Get Me Out of Here!, was set in the back of the Crookhorn Costume Cupboard (which is like a jungle!), where eight pantomime and fairytale characters competed to be crowned King or Queen.
Throughout the performance, the characters faced a series of hilarious Bushtucker-style trials, with help from some very enthusiastic student audience members, all in an effort to win stars that could be exchanged for food.
Packed with humour inspired by the popular TV programme, the show perfectly blended classic pantomime traditions with pop culture, alongside plenty of Crookhorn-themed jokes, references and energetic dance-offs.
The main hall was filled with laughter and cheers across all four performances. A huge thank you to all the staff involved, especially the Creative Arts department and everyone working behind the scenes to make the production such a success.
A brilliant way to end the autumn term.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
