On Tuesday 15^th October, a group of students attended the Hampshire Book Award Ceremony in Winchester.  This is an annual award which students volunteered to take part in.  They needed to read all six of the shortlisted titles before voting for their favourite. Paula Rawsthorne, the author of the winning book "Shell" spoke about her inspiration for this book as well as some of her others. She talked to the students about reading and books in general and it was a very engaging session for them. After the talk, there was an opportunity for students to buy Paula's books and then have their copy signed by her.
