Year 9 PSHE Yoga

With Year 10 preparing for and completing their work experience, it was a Year 9 PSHE group that benefitted from the weekly yoga this half-term. With their final session yesterday coinciding with Children’s Mental Health Week, it seemed like the perfect time to get some photos of them in action and to share some of their comments on the experience. Here’s what some of the students had to say:

“I think yoga was a good way to stretch and wake up your muscles in the morning. I would recommend it if you are not a morning person because it’s an easy way to get your day ready!”

“I think yoga was a good opportunity to stretch and de-stress. It was a good way to loosen up and have fun with friends.”

“During this 6 week half-term of yoga, I have challenged myself with different poses. These weeks have been enjoyable, and I recommend that you give it a go.”

A big thank you to Jo, our yoga instructor and one of our College Governors, for providing our students with this fantastic opportunity and supporting the College in promoting positive mental health for all.
