Time to Talk Day 2024

Run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. Happening every year, it’s a day for friends, families, communities, and workplaces to come together to talk, listen and change lives.

Talking about mental health isn’t always easy, and sometimes it’s even harder to say how you really feel, but a conversation has the power to change lives. The more conversations we can have, the better.

As part of the College's commitment to promoting positive mental health for all, in Tutor Time this week, the students have been discussing what someone might really mean by “It’s all good”/“Yeah, getting by...”/“Not toooo bad”, how we can help others unpick their emotions and the different ways in which support can be accessed in College.

At Crookhorn, we are fully committed to fostering a whole College culture where all members of our College community feel able to talk openly about mental health.
