As a valued member of our alumni community, you have a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the next steps of current students. Whether you choose to mentor, share your story, offer opportunities, or contribute in other ways, your support strengthens the school community.

How Alumni can support current students

1. Mentorship Programmes
   Volunteer to mentor current students. Share your experiences, offer guidance on career choices, university applications, or life skills. This is particularly useful if you undertook an apprenticeship and can mentor a current student hoping to take this path.
    
2. Career talks and workshops
   Participate in talks and workshops. Real-world insights about various professions or industries help students make informed decisions about their futures.
    
3. Work Experience opportunities
   Offer work shadowing days, or even brief workplace visits. These experiences give students practical exposure and strengthen their CVs.
    
4. Networking Events
   Attend our networking events such as the Employer Networking Event in March.
    
5. Guest talks and discussions
   Share your experience as a guest speaker who helps students connect classroom learning with real-world perspectives.
    
6. Alumni Testimonials/Posters
   Provide information about your time at Crookhorn College and what you do now. These stories can be featured here on our website, via social media, or in newsletters to inspire current and prospective students.
