Parent and Teacher Association (PTA)

Would you like to join the PTA?

Crookhorn College’s Parent and Teacher Association includes parents of both past and present students, as well as representatives from the College staff. The aim of the association is to support the students and staff in any way they can. This includes coordinating fundraising events which have enabled the College to purchase new resources and equipment for our students. These include iPads for our PE and technology departments, LEGO MINDSTORMS sets for our Robotics Club, new kits for our netball teams and funding towards students going on trips and reward events.

We hold a Quiz Evening 2 or 3 times a year, and other events which are all open to the local community.

We are always very keen to welcome new members to the association, indeed we need more members who have children in years 7, 8 & 9. This could be simply as an occasional helper in serving refreshments at parent’s evening, up to serving on our committee which involves attending a monthly committee meeting; any offer of help, large or small will be much appreciated. Another simple way to help is to donate old, good quality uniform eg. Blazers/ties/jumpers/football boots etc., which the PTA will sell to raise funds for the College.

If you are interested in finding out more about our Parent and Teacher Association, please email PTA member Marie Potter – mariepotter35@gmail.com

Alternatively, if you leave your name and contact details at the College Reception, a member of the PTA team will get back to you.
